With the web surfing powers of Tish and the inspiration of a picture taken by my photographer...with their powers combined, I was led to the pair of shoes that became THE one. Allow me to introduce you to my Luichiny pair, "Primal". I love the detail of the busy grosgrain ribbon action and the attached crystals...and most importantly-- the HEART on the sole!!
This picture here was taken by my photographer. The shoes in this picture are actually another pair, but it was the heart on the sole that I found endearing.
Luckily, these shoes did not take forever to find nor did it cost an arm and a leg! Tish happened to find a Luichiny pair ("Duchess") that she loved and after recognizing that same heart, I had to further explore the Luichiny line! Already, the price seemed affordable and with Shoebuy.com always having 15%-20% off coupons-- a $10 off coupon + 10% off for new registers later, I am now a proud owner of a pair of Luichiny shoes...with the hearts! Score!
I'm also considering purchasing Tish's "Duchess" pair in dark champagne because it's just so darn cute! Check out the bow tie on the back and the zipper action. Looooove it!
2008 is finally here!! And that means 10 more months until the wedding. On that note, some wedding-related events have taken place since I last blogged which includes wedding bands and wedding dress being purchased. As much as I'd like to post the picture of the dress, I have to hold off on that since Jae tends to frequent this site. As for the venue, still in progress!!!
Recently, we took a trip to SF over the New Years weekend. This trip has rekindled my love for that city. These are just a few pics that take me back...
In other news, this is the BRIDAL month! So many events going on all over Houston to assist the brides of 2008 and on. Me, Jae and the girls (sister and Janelle) attended the Bridal Extravaganza that was a bit overwhelming. One of the photographers I had been corresponding with asked me to meet him at the event to have our appointment. When we got there, he seemed so distant and not personable as he was over the phone and through e-mail. As much as we like his portfolio, that kind of customer service is a complete turn off. Also, if you can't develop chemistry with your photographer, that could translate through the pics. Fortunately, we came across another photographer's booth and hit it off well with them. I should've taken a mugshot of the first photographer and post it on here for all to avoid. :P
And lastly, it feels good to come home to this everyday....
I forgot to acknowledge Boston's 3-month birthday on Sunday. Here's to her growing days...
This was during her first day home.
Boston loves Simba's ears, sleeping and winning you over with her puppy eyes.
They seem to have a special connection. (Not really but I say this to make Jae feel better.) :P
Day 3 - still unproposed to.
anyway, moving on! i made this collage after work as a way to get my mind off of not being engaged on Day 3.
This here is Boston. She is turning 3 months soon. In her spare time, she enjoys ripping off the cat's ear, burping and running off with strangers. Otherwise, you can always find her sleeping, eating or creating chaos in her surrounding. Her latest strengths include using the puppy eyes techique and obeying the command, "come". Her weakness involves not being able to climb down the staircase.
Jae can't keep surprises to himself. The other day, he told me he was working on photoshop and I asked him if he was editing pics and he said, "No um I can't tell you". The next day, he told me he had to go to Hobby Lobby without me. A guy going to a crafts store without his girlfriend??? Unheard of. Without me having to pry, he ended up telling me what he was working on. I present you with his wonderful collage of us! haha I really like how he captured some of my uncensored facial expressions such as the one on the top right corner that says I'm gonna slap you if you take one more picture!
thanks! i got use to it eventually. :P read more
